At approximately 5:30 PM you’ll meet at a designated pick-up location in Tamarindo and board an air-conditioned vehicle to a secluded beach about 40 minutes away. Once there, the naturalist guide shares detailed insights into the lives of sea turtles — how they feed, where they nest, what conditions they need, and how humans can respectfully observe without interference. As darkness falls, you’ll settle in along the shoreline, await the turtles’ arrival, and quietly witness nesting activity under strict guidelines: no flash photography, no touching, and distance maintained. Though the chance to see actual egg-laying or hatching varies (depending on beach and weather conditions), the opportunity to be present in their habitat at night remains unforgettable.
