Your adventure begins early with a road journey through coastal and countryside landscapes toward the village of Las Cañitas. GetYourGuide+1 From there, you’ll board a catamaran to cross Samaná Bay and head toward the peninsula. At the ranch you’ll mount a horse and ride uphill through lush vegetation of coffee, cocoa and tropical fruit trees — the ride takes about 30 minutes uphill to a vantage over the waterfall. Once at the waterfall, enjoy time to swim in its natural pool beneath the cascade, soak in the scenery and capture photos. In the afternoon you’ll travel to Cayo Levantado (Bacardí Island) where you can relax on its white-sand beach, swim in turquoise waters and enjoy refreshments.
