The Las Pailas trails at Rincón de la Vieja National Park offer a unique opportunity to witness the power of Costa Rica’s largest volcano. Marvel at steaming fumaroles, bubbling volcanic mud, and clay pots of simmering volcanic water. Accompanied by a bilingual naturalist guide, explore a 3.5-kilometer circular trail, observe wildlife including armadillos, iguanas, and various monkeys, and enjoy stunning volcano vistas. The tour concludes with a return to Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin. (Note: Park entrance fee is included in this tour.)
