Your adventure begins with a transfer from Los Melones to the Bayahíbe marina where you board a catamaran (or speedboat/catamaran combo). Your first stop is in front of the Hilton La Romana hotel area for about a 40-minute snorkeling session in crystal-clear waters rich with marine life.
Next you cruise to the Natural Caribbean Pools — a shallow sandbar in the middle of the sea where you can relax and admire starfish. Onboard you’ll have music, drinks and lively atmosphere as you sail toward the island.
Once you arrive at Saona Island’s Playa Taino, you’ll have time to unwind: lounge on sunbeds or hammocks under the palms, swim in warm water, soak the scenery. A buffet lunch awaits, with dishes such as rice, pasta, stewed vegetables, boiled potatoes, fresh salads, fruit and a BBQ including chicken, pork and fish. Soft drinks, water, rum and beer are served at the open bar.
After ample free time for sunbathing, swimming and exploring, you reboard for the return trip to Bayahíbe — with scenic views, music and drinks. Transfer back to your accommodation ends a wonderful day of relaxation and fun.
