Full Description

The day begins with a pickup from your Punta Cana hotel at around 6:30 AM. You'll travel to Los Haitises National Park, a rich ecosystem bathed by the waters of Samaná Bay. Your journey kicks off on a boat along Caño Hondo River, navigating through red mangrove tangle and spotting local birdlife like pelicans and flycatchers.

You will then enter the Arena and Línea caves, where ancient Taíno people left behind pictographs and petroglyphs, offering a glimpse into the indigenous cultural heritage. Next, the boat brings you to Paraíso Caño Hondo, where warm, natural pools await, and you can take a dip in the Jivales River. Here you’ll also be served a traditional Dominican lunch.

After lunch, the adventure continues by jeep up to Montaña Redonda. At the summit, framed by two lagoons (Limón and Redonda), you’ll enjoy fairy-tale-like jungle panoramas. Finally, you’ll head back to Punta Cana and arrive at your hotel between approximately 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM.
