We meet at the scheduled time outside the Pre-universitario on Adela Azcuy Street. From there, we leave the town center behind and ride into the heart of the valley. For one hour, you'll travel on horseback through the fertile lands where some of Cuba's finest coffee beans are grown. The ride offers incredible views of the limestone "mogotes" and tropical flora.

Our destination is a local plantation and cafe. Here, your guide will walk you through the fascinating lifecycle of a coffee bean. You'll see the drying racks where beans sit under the sun and the traditional mortar and pestle used for grinding. To top off the experience, you’ll enjoy a tasting of freshly made coffee. You'll also have the opportunity to see how cigars are hand-rolled and can even purchase a cup or a bag of coffee to take home as a souvenir. The tour concludes at the farm entrance.
