On this nature walk, you’ll traverse parts of Cahuita National Park with an experienced local guide who shares insights about the area’s rich biodiversity. The trail winds through tropical forest, where you may encounter howler monkeys, sloths, iguanas, and many small creatures hidden among the trees. Thanks to the high-powered telescope, even distant or camouflaged animals become visible. Alongside wildlife spotting, your guide will explain the cultural and medicinal uses of native plants, and tell stories about the region’s natural history. At the end of the hike, you’ll arrive at a pristine white-sand beach — you’re welcome to stay there, swim in a safe zone, or relax before heading back.
