Description
? Overview
Start early with a pickup from your San José-area hotel and head into the Costa Rican countryside, passing through Cartago and small rural towns. Once you reach the rafting launch site, professional guides will brief you on safety, paddle technique, and then you’ll set off on an 18-mile (approx. 30 km) rafting journey down the Pacuare River. What an amazing day! This tour showed me the best of the region. It was very well-organised.
What struck me most about this tour was the guide's genuine connection to the land. He shared stories passed down through generations, painting a vivid picture of the region's history and its people. It wasn't just about reciting facts from a textbook; it was …
A memorable tour! The guide was both fun and informative, I could recommend this any day.
