Full Description
Your adventure begins early with hotel pick-up from the Puerto Plata / Punta Rucia region in an air-conditioned vehicle. After a drive through scenic landscapes, you board a speedboat for a ride across La Isabela Bay’s mangrove-lined shores to reach Cayo Arena — a tiny sand-bank island often nick-named “Paradise Island”.
Once on the island, you’ll have ample free time to snorkel in shallow turquoise waters, admire colourful marine life and coral formations, swim in the refreshing sea and soak up the sun on the white sand. A boat ride through the surrounding mangrove jungle offers wildlife-spotting opportunities and tranquil nature views.
