You should do this tour if you love adventure in nature. Puerto Plata with its charms invites you to experience the 7 Waterfalls of Damajagua, discovered just a few years ago, nestled in the hills of the northern mountain range—a protected natural area.
The excursion takes you into a tropical canyon where you’ll hike up to view a series of stunning waterfalls, then on your descent you’ll swim under cascades, slide down natural waterslides and jump from waterfalls into pools below.
The experience also includes transportation from the port, guide in English/Spanish, a Dominican-style buffet lunch, water & soft drinks, and entry fee to the falls. Note: not suitable for children under 8 years, pregnant women, people with back problems, mobility impairments or recent surgeries.
