Your journey begins with an early pickup from your hotel in San José. As you leave the city behind, travel through scenic rural landscapes with volcano views, coffee fields, and lush tropical vegetation. Your first experience is a mini coffee tour, where you learn about coffee production and sample freshly brewed Costa Rican coffee.
The adventure continues with stops at La Paz Waterfall and San Fernando Waterfall, where you’ll have opportunities to spot local wildlife such as toucans, hummingbirds, and exotic birds. At a popular nature viewpoint, known as “Iguana Bridge,” you may also see iguanas, monkeys, and sloths resting in the treetops.
Afterward, enjoy a delicious lunch in La Fortuna overlooking the imposing Arenal Volcano. Then it's time for adrenaline: fly across seven zip-line cables high above the rainforest canopy, and descend using a 50-meter rappel over the Arenal River.
Next, visit the Maleku Indigenous Tribe, where you’ll learn about their culture, customs, and traditions.
