Your day begins with hotel pickup in the La Fortuna area (the tour runs for about 12 hours). You travel into the rainforest and start at Mistico Hanging Bridges Park, walking along elevated bridges and narrow trails through the canopy with a guide who points out the local ecosystem. Next you’ll be driven to Arenal Volcano National Park, where you’ll hike among dramatic lava rocks, arrive at a viewpoint with striking views of the volcano and surrounding landscape, and learn about its eruption legacy.
