This tour takes place at Hacienda Baru National Wildlife Refuge, offering the best opportunities to see wildlife at night. Unlike typical night tours that focus on reptiles and amphibians, you can encounter mammals like 3-toed and 2-toed sloths, kinkajous, Mexican hairy dwarf porcupines, and collared peccaries. During the rainy season, colorful frogs emerge, including the iconic red-eyed tree frog. Your licensed naturalist guide will share fascinating stories about the rainforest, explaining the role of each species in maintaining ecological balance. Flashlights and rubber boots (for rainy season) are provided.
